These Goodies Got me Like..

So, I thought I would throw in some beauty bits here on the blog.  I want to break it up a bit by showing you my beauty favs! I love what makeup can do you for you.  I'm all about enhancing your beauty.  It's important to never hide what God has given you. I personally tend to gravitate towards tinted moisturizers or BB creams.  I recently purchased this BB cream from the Body Shop because they were having a 40% off sale on EVERYTHING!  Unfortunately, the sale has ended, but there are constant sales on their website.

With BB creme and tinted moisturizers, you're able to enhance your beauty and perfect it a tad bit.  I am comfortable in my skin and I do not mind that my dark spots or redness shows through.  However, with these type of face products, they even out my skin tone to a certain extent without packing on the foundation.  In addition to enhancing my beauty, I love highlighters and lightening products.  Those products are always a staple to my beauty routine.  My moto is: more highlighter, the better! I love how the light reflects off of my skin and gives me a glowing effect.  How can anyone not want that?

For skincare, I've being trying to find the right morning face cream.  So, I thought I would take a chance and purchase the Body Shop Seaweed Mattifying Moisture Cream.  This should help with my oily/combination skin type.  I do hope it surpasses my expectations. I am extremely picky with moisture creams with SPF.  I despise the texture of it after it has left my hands. I know, totally weird!

This All-In-One BB Cream comes out white but transforms to the color of your skin! Mine is in the shade '02'.

You can say I have an eclectic sense of style.  It isn't something set in stone.  However, I do like to play around with different pieces.  It's always fun to be different, especially showing that through my clothing choices.  You always want to evolve your style and I love doing that with different clothing pieces.   My goal this year is to evolve my style.

This outfit represents who I truly am.  Although I do love to just chill in a shirt and jeans.  I also like to resort to a simple, clean and tailored look.  I want to step out of that shirt and jeans mode and pick pieces that reflect me.  With that being said, I opted for a chic look for a baby shower I went to.  I got this easy and non-form fitting dress from H&M and threw on a long vest from TopShop.  Then, I added a few gold touches for accessories.  I wore a leaf headband and dainty jewelry pieces to complete the look.  I hope you enjoyed this outfit. xx
